Jeff Hughes

Saturday Morning Host

Jeff Hughes, a Wichita Falls, Texas native, is a dedicated leader and servant in his community. A graduate of Rider High School and Midwestern State University, Jeff holds a degree in Criminal Justice and has spent his life building strong connections within his hometown.

Jeff retired from the Wichita Falls Police Department after more than 25 years of distinguished service, during which he served as a police officer, public information officer, and social media coordinator. Before his law enforcement career, Jeff was widely recognized as “Jeff the Jammer,” a popular radio personality in Wichita Falls during the 1990s.

Currently, Jeff serves as the pastor of Emmanuel Baptist Church on Loop 11, where he is committed to sharing God’s Word and serving the congregation. He also works at Hospice of Wichita Falls, contributing to its mission of providing compassionate care to patients and their families. Additionally, Jeff is actively involved in Christian radio as both an on-air personality and a board member for KMOC, using his talents to support radio ministry.

Jeff is married to his wife, Amanda, who is the love of his life. Together, they have six wonderful children and several grandchildren, who are their greatest joy. Through his diverse experiences and roles, Jeff remains committed to making a positive impact on his community and those around him.
