The Wichita Falls Area Food Bank (WFAFB) is a nonprofit, central clearinghouse which secures, stores and distributes food in 12-north Texas counties.  Our Mission Statement is “Feeding the Hungry through Charitable Agencies.”

Our partners – the “charitable agencies” in our mission statement - include food pantries, low-income housing sites, senior citizens, family crisis centers, soup kitchens, emergency shelters, after school programs, low-income day care centers, rehabilitation facilities and disaster relief agencies.

WFAFB recovers or receives food from local grocers, dairies, bakeries, farmers, ranchers, individuals, Feeding America, reclamation centers, other Food Banks who share their surplus, USDA commodities and through food and fund drives. Nearly 3 million pounds of food is distributed annually through our partners for their hungry clients.
